I missed the blog last night, due to slow internet. Well that was my excuse, but in fact, I also sort of hit the wall after dinner. I did a bit of a fun run for 4 miles to find the camera shop... I’m not used to such energetic enterprises loaded down with the back pack and the in the heat of the day I thought I was pretty darn clever, but the end of the day was a bit of a surprise. I needed to sleep!!!!
But we got to do some interesting things.
A visit to the mangroves was one of them.
We have 993 kms to sail back to New Orleans and it will take two days to get there.
We’ve had a day in Cozumel, Mexico today and Lisa and I just decided to walk the city rather than take a tour.
There were 4 other ships in port and it was like an entire city descending on the area.
People poured out of the bowels of the ship and walked right into the arms of the vendors.
It was touristy to the extreme, but we had fun in the sun, the water was turquoise and blue and people watching was hilarious.
For the first time on the tour we’ve missed dinner because we needed to watch the departure proceedings but we ended up at Johnny Rockets and ate a hamburger instead of Lobster.
Tomorrow is a quilting day. I will teach all day.
So no more posts from sea... its costing me an arm and a leg.
