My class was great today. 25 ladies attended and will be with me for the next two days. We didn't complete monet's garden the project, but will do so tomorrow. Quite a few of the ladies had a problem with the tension on their machines.
When talking, I had to compete with the cockerels crowing and the bells tolling during class. One had to stop for a short time because it's difficult to override the bells I can tell you.
Our classes are held in the outbuilding of San Andreas Church.
Begun in 1561, the Cathedral located on the north-side of Plaza de Armas, was consecrated in 1616, presenting an interesting mixture of Baroque and Gothic architecture. Ten of the silver-and-gold altars were gifts from King Ferdinand VII of Spain. In a loft high above the main entrance is a magnificent late 19th-Century French organ.
It's uncharacteristically cold today, I woke in the night to hear what sounded like the sink overflowing but it was the rain.
So on with the woollies.
