A Huge storm of rain and dust descended on Alamogordo as we left the city around 5.30 last night.
It was an amazing sight. We used to have storms like this when I was a child and I remember walking home from school in the choking dust that had been carried down from the outback.
As we drove towards Las Cruses, there was dust one side of the road and then this on the other.
