Yesterday was really an amazing day of discovery.
We visited Museums, art galleries and met the most talented people.
When we got back to the hotel we were almost in a state of euphoria and it was hard to write.
But I wanted to share the great fabric I found on Tuesday.
Most of it was at the Adobe Quilt shop, the other was at the wonderful fabric shop. Common Threads, Uncommon Fabrics.
Common Thread opened in early winter of 1992. Within this spare and expansive geography they experience the radiance and reflection of a full spectrum of light. Ultraviolet and blue-green skies and pink and glowing orange sunrises and sunsets--abound.. Wo! Hah! Many artists have been drawn to Northern New Mexico for these reasons.
In this spacious land, there exists a domain of quiet and view. Here one can peacefully explore the essence of color--and texture.
I've visited this store several times and will go back up there next week to look at some new quilts. Its a feast for the eyes.
I'm well behind on the blog.... I've got so much to share... but I need to leave for another adventure right now.
So I leave you with this amazing picture.
Look at his art.
